Jorge E. Narváez-Arango:

A trained architect, designer & creative director focused on the sensations, feelings, cognitions and behavioral responses evoked by brand-related stimuli and experiences. Narváez-Arango has held senior creative leadership positions at some of the country’s top design, experiential and brand strategy firms. Since graduating with a Masters in Design Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelors of Architecture & Environmental Design from the University of Houston, Jorge has held design leadership positions at top global studios such as InterbrandGeorge P. JohnsonBruce Mau Design, Omnicom’s Arnell Group, AECOM-DMJMDMJM Rottet and EMBT Architects.

In these roles he led multidisciplinary design teams, creating brand experiences for clients such as IBM, PepsiCo, Unilever, General Electric, Gucci, The Home Depot, Mastercard, GNC, DevonWorks, Cushman & Wakefield, Hines, Li-Ning, The Fontainebleau Hotel & Resorts and more.

Most recently Narváez-Arango serves as the Creative Director, Consumer & Retail Brand Experience at Interbrand’s North American Center of Excellence for Consumer Branding and Experience Design. Responsible for strategic creative leadership of a world-class cross-disciplinary team aimed at growing brands and businesses thru the combination of rigorous strategy, analytics and design.

He previously held a position as the VP of Creative, leading George P. Johnson’s worldwide creative and experience design efforts on behalf of the IBM account and coordinating work across all design studios globally.  Tasked with delivering innovative brand experiences, and ensuring studio alignment across a $200 million dollar global event program while challenging conventional approaches to event-based marketing through a variety of channels.

Jorge is fluent in Spanish, conversant in French, has a passion for motorsports, the future, Artificial Intelligence, and design.
